George Mageria founded Galweather Consulting LLC in 2018 as a renewable energy development and transaction advisory platform focused on Utility scale and hybrid power projects across the world. George has over 20 years of extensive experience in project and infrastructure finance. He has originated, structured and executed the financing of landmark transactions including Public Private Partnerships (PPPPs) in energy, transport and water sectors. George holds a MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and a BA from Kenyatta University.

Over 15 years of experience originating and delivering bankable, lender-ready infrastructure projects across renewable energy, battery storage, desalination, and hyperscale data-centre sectors in Africa. Proven leadership from origination through feasibility, ESIA, grid interconnection, financial modelling, and financial-close readiness. Trusted counterparty to commercial lenders, DFIs, ECAs and multilaterals.

Holds an MSc from the University of Oslo and a Master's degree in Financial Analysis from Cambridge College.

Anne Mugure Kiburi

Non-Executive Director

Strategic energy economist and certified PPP practitioner with 21 years spanning banking and energy — specialising in project financing, financial modelling, and DFI engagement.

Anne Mugure Kiburi is a strategic energy economist and certified PPP practitioner with 21 years of cross-functional experience spanning the banking and energy sectors.

She spent 7 years in banking evaluating project proposals and appraising loan applications, then 14 years structuring large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects. She has spearheaded corporate strategy, managed PPP financial closes, engaged DFIs, impact investors, and private equity, and led multi-stakeholder coordination for national initiatives including the Kenya Energy Transition & Investment Plan and Kenya Energy Policy 2025.

Holds a BA in Economics from the University of Nairobi and is pursuing an MSc in Sustainable Development.
